They liked it, but thought the 785T was a slightly better navigator and much better bargain.
Dissapointing
It is a little disappointing that Garmin still will not release a top of the line unit, that has every feature! Is this part of their business model, to get people to upgrade frequently?

I agree it should have the features of the 7x5 series, especially the faster refresh rates.
The 8xx series have been based on different software, although it seems that Garmin should have updated it to have the 7x5 features.
I also like the feature on the 7x5 series where you can change the view to elevation, remaining time, etc. and am surprised that Garmin didn't add that to the 8x5 series.
