I was wondering if anybody else ran into this issue. When i have my mp3 player playing and proximity alerts pop up, the mp3 advances 1 song . THIS HAPPENS EVERYTIME, NOT JUST SOMETIMES. I let garmin know and they told me they will look into it.
Does your Nuvi 755T continue
Does your Nuvi 755T continue your mp3 song or voice recording where it left off once you re-power your unit?
yup

Don't have mp3 capability in mine, but I've seen this problem reported before. the "fix" seems to be to convert the alert mp3s to wave files and use the right version of sox.exe to install them like us non-mp3 users do. That seems to avoid the conflict, although the files do take up more space than they would in mp3 format.

Garmin has known of the problem for a long time -- they just won't fix it (they broke it with one of their updates). The problem only occurs with custom mp3 audio alerts. Use the default alerts and there is no problem.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
