MapSource disc backordered

Just passing this on in case anyone else has been waiting for MapSource ...

I requested from Garmin support the MapSource software to go with my new c530 two weeks ago, but it hasn't shown up yet.

I called support tonight, and the rep said the disc has been out of stock for 3 weeks. They hope to get more within a week or so, but no guarantees of course.

I saw another thread that a new version was just released, so maybe they were waiting to cut discs with that version.

I just order my set 2 days

I just order my set 2 days ago and the support people from garmin send me and email with the back order notice I hope that we get the new release.

I ordered mine last week

I ordered mine last week Wed. (2/28) by email and they said it was back ordered too. Arrived in the mail on Tues. (3/6). So not much of a back order.

I just got an email from Garmin and they are sending out the CD. They said nothing about it being back ordered.

Mine arrived this week, too, so they are back in stock.

It is not the new release though -- in fact, it was several releases back. So be sure to go to "Check for Updates" under the Help menu.

Ordered mine nearly three

Ordered mine nearly three weeks ago and have not seen it yet. Guess I will have to contact them again. No "back order" email from them either.
