Where did you put the POI file?

Create a folder someplace on your computer, put the POI file, any icon and alert sound into the folder you created. Run POI Loader and tell it the name of the folder holding the POI files.

Thank you

I will try that if the computer will allow me to. I tried that but it just saves it as a excel file.

Create Folder

To create a folder go to My Computer and select where you want to create the folder. Then right click "New" ---> Folder. Give the folder a name and then drag the file to it.

Point the PoiLoader to the folder to get the file loaded.

Are you saying when you load

Are you saying when you load the POI using the loader the loader is just copying over the cvs file with out converting it.

When you select the CVS file using the POI Loader it should convert the file and copy that converted file over to the GPS.

No

No, POI loader does not just copy the files to the GPS unit. CSV and GPX files are all combined into a single file -- POI.gpi.

When you point POI Loader to the source, it is the FOLDER holding all your files -- you cannot select the file(s).
