New Blackberry Storm and Bluetooth

I know probably very few have the Storm yet but in case someone has tried it, how does the Bluetooth work with the Garmin? I have my enV connected to my Nuvi 660 and it works great, but this new Storm looks like a nice phone. Any other reaction to the Storm yet? I know the VZ Navigator is not worth the extra since I tried it with the enV and went out and bought my Nuvi but the internet and email would be nice.

Storm

I have the Storm. It was recently purchased through my job for a work phone. I asked for an iPhone but no luck, we work with Verizon. So far it seems like a good unit. One problem I do have it that the touchscreen is not always accurate as far as where you are pressing, and I have not found a way to calibrate it yet. Since I have the Nuvi 350 I can't test the Bluetooth functionality with it. There are also not many apps out for it, but I hear that is to change come March 2009, when RIM will be adding a store similar to the iPhone store. Apple still dominates in the field in my opinion.

i paired the storm with the 760. from my end it sounds the same as with any other phone, although i have not heard the quality on the other side of the conversation.

Works great

I have the Storm and Nuvi 765. They paired easily and work flawlessly. I can dial from my contacts on my phone through the Nuvi, and conversations for the most part sound great for me and good for folks on the other end, from what I am told.

p.s. I LOVE the Storm. I have no touchscreen probs and it is a great device ..

That's good news as i am getting one once they are released here in Canada. Does the SMS work thru the GPS?

I have been waiting for the Storm in Canada as well. My provider doesn't have the iphone and my phone is just barely usable. It was advertised to come out for Christmas but they are cutting it close now.

Are you running the latest version of the software (4.7.0.75)? Glad to hear your having no problems with your device! I'm holding out a little longer before I jump on the Storm bandwagon..

Storm

I just paired my Telus Blackberry 9530 to my 760,Voice dial worked,address book,cal log, But could not see any SMS icons there! Possibly will happen with a future update?

Phone List

Wondering how long it took for Storm and Nuvi to sync phone list? I have a few hundred contacts stored on my Storm and the phone list sync sis not complete after 45 minutes. Am I being too impatient or is there something I'm missing?
