New to csv files

Can I add redlight camera locations to the red light camera POI I have if I get the latitude and longitude from google earth. If yes, do I need to convert the latitude and longitude to degree decimals? Also in the red light camera POI lists the alert as Red Light Camera plus the extention. Can red light camera be replaced with the street name so I can keep track of the locations I have vs. what locations are missing? Will adding a location to the list automaticlly appear as an alert when I approch the location.

1. Yes you can add your own data. Just open the file in Excel and add another line of information. However, it would be useful to supply the data to Miss POI so that she can update the files here. Miss POI is updating the file on a weekly basis.
2. Yes, you need to enter the data in decimal degrees. There are several calculators on line, and you can adjust google earth to provide the data in decimal degrees.
3. You can change the name in column 3 to the street name.
4. You will get the alert as long as you have proximity alerts turned on on your GPS. It knows its a proximity alert file from the title, which sets a default proximity of .25 miles.
