PDA/Smartphone GPS

Does anybody have feedback on GPS phones such as, verizon's, or blackberry storm, or iphone. I have a Garmin 760, and dont plan on ditching it for anything. However, My fiance is in need of a GPS, but is getting a Verizon Blackberry Storm with GPS built in. She would only use it occasionally. I was just wondering if it was a viable option, or should i still get her a gps, like nuvi 265 or such.

I would just like to have a PDA/smartphone with GPS that works off the satellites, not the cell phone towers. I would also like wi-fi. Many of the phones have everything tied to the network. I just like the idea that the GPS will work even if I am well out of cell phone network coverage. I may even buy a second hand Pharos Traveler 600 GPS Phone http://www.pharosgps.com/products/proddetail.asp?prod=001_PT...

Mobile 10 for Smartphones auction

There are still a few more Garmin Mobile 10 for Smartphone units, Garmin# 010-00654-00, bidding on Ebay from Best Buy Outlet. Search for "Garmin Mobile 10 Bluetooth". List is $199.99 https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=9796 and one bid up to $81.00, but I sniped one for $44.00.

It should work with my Palm TX (PDA not a phone), but I figured even if it doesn't I can keep the 10x in my laptop bag for use with nRoute.

looks comparible to iphone/blackberry storm

no word on a US carrier i guess. looks pretty sweet, i dont know about mac, or blackberry support, but you know garmin support is pretty good.

Nuvifone

I would love to have a Garmin Nuvifone. I am essentially trying to figure out what would me most similar right now. I read that someone speculated that this will be made by Asus, but time will tell. It looks like it might be available sometime next year.
