I know gpx is only for Garmin units but can csv be used by non-Garmin units? Trying to decide if I should create POIs in both csv and gpx formats.

yes, tupdegrove. excel files

yes, tupdegrove. excel files can be used by other brands. there are "converters" for TomTom, etc

Magellan has a utility that converts .csv files to their proprietary .mgln format.

Microsoft Streets and Trips and Delorme Street Atlas can import .csv files too.

Mac version for Magellan POI editor?

Hi ... The Magellan CD comes with a windows version of the POI file editor - there is a HTML file saying "use this if you are a mac user" but I did not see anything in there related to Macs.

Is there a Mac utility that can create the mgln files?
