I have finally come to a point where I want to listen to audio book through my Garmin 350.
I searched and searched and have not found what I was looking for in POI Factory files. So I am asking for help.
I am wantings to listen to audio books (in mp3 format) that I have downloaded and put on my SD card under the folder Garmin->Audio Books.
But I cannot find a way to direct the Garmin Audio book reader to that directory.
Can someone explain how to do this?
Thanks

It would appear the only way to do it is to go to:
garmin.audible.com and subscribe....

Yeah, MP3 files will only show up under the MP3 player. The only way to get them under the Audio Book player is to purchase them from Audible. It's a proprietary format.
A work around?
Is there no work around to this problem?
A lot of books are in mpx format.
Something I am setting up and doing now with my Nuvi 350, is to have 2 SD cards. On both of them I will have the folder for Garmin.
Under that folder I will have folders for Poi and Mp3.
On the one SD Card I will have my pois under Poi and have my music under Mp3.
On the other I will have my pois and under the Mp3 I will have my audio books in mp3 format.
Then when I want to listen to a book, I will power down my Nuvi, load the SD card for books, power up and go.
I guess I will have to re-set my route... wherever I am in it...
But it looks like that is the only way to play the books in the mpx format ... without mixing them up with my tunes, which I don't really want to do.
Any thoughts?
