POI enroute

Once you get them loaded in your gps just click on custom pois and touch the file name and the closest 50 will show up.

I am not sure exactly on the Zumo line, but this is how it work on my c5xx models.

If you are on a route, then want to find something go to Menu, Where To, Extras, Custom POI. Then choose your business/site/poi. It will ask if you want to go to that location on your way to the final destination and say yes. Only the closest 50 will show in the list, even if they are out of state or a block away.

As previously mentioned, when you select the POI, you will see the 50 nearest locations in order of distance from your particular spot. This screen is active and will change as you move along your route. Note that it doesn't show you which ones are along the route, only by straight line distance in all directions.

On the Zumo, the icon will show up on the map if you are zoomed to 0.3 miles or closer.

The locations will show up on the menu lists regardless of whether they are on your direct route. As others have pointed out, for any POI list, the unit will show the 50 closest locations to your current position. The list will change as you move.
