City Navigator 2009 NT update, update?!

Hello!
I successfully installed "CNNT2009-update" on my Legend HCx, however I have a question...
Are there any "interim" updates throughout the year? In other words, is there a possibility that Garmin puts out updates to CNNT2009-update? Or if I have 2009 on, anything new will require the 2010-update purchase down the road?

It has been yearly... Although 2009 came out in 2008....

City Navigator Update
I for one, would love to see either a quarterly, or semi-annual update subscritpion package from Garmin or Navteq.
I would download updates for their maps as they became available that way.
But so far, that has not happened.
