hey, hey, I'm a new GPS user and have a Garmin Streetpilot 330C. I would like to down load some of the files located here but wish to know if any one has had any experiece with doing so on a this Garmin model.
If so please note your experience and what you found that worked best for you.

I own the C330 & C340
I have had the C330 for 2 years and the C340 for 1 year. I have never had
any problem with any of the files listed on POI Factory. Just don't get too ambitious downloading files - you have limited memory for Custom POIs on the C330. Personally, I modify most of the files to minimize memory requirements.
I suspect you can get 14000-18000 POIs on a C330 depending on whether you use .gpx or csv formatted files. .gpx files tend to have more info and take more memory as I understand it ! You cannot use an SD card to store Custom POI files for the C330 .
