Hello,
The mp3 player in my nuvi 680 does not have a stop button. I see all the other buttons but the stop is missing! The manual shows the button but it doesn't show on my screen!
How do I stop the mp3 player from playing a song if I want to stop it midway through the song other than turning of the Nuvi?

The Stop button is the same one that is the play button. While it is playing, the button changes to two vertical lines. Just push the same button again and the song will stop. You don't need to do anything else.
