First I don't think we need an adult club poi here as there is easy access for minors. Second now there are ohter things being talked about like mixing apples and oranges.

I think he means a POI listing of Adult Clubs.

I agree that we dont need POI's for adult clubs. In most cities there are billboards and bright lights that point the way. Thats POI enough

Please keep in mind that this file is nothing but a list of addresses and coordinates. It is no more explicit material than what is publicly accessible to anybody in the street, nor does it provide access to explicit content.

I agree with Krieger, This is a simple matter.
We deal with Coordinates,simple numbers, And so do phone books.

Children do not drive and don't use or need access to your GPSr. If you feel there is a problem then Password protect it. A google search would produce much worse, With a search comes pictures and explicit content, even the email your kid gets is not much different than yours could be even nastier, have you looked lately. I would hope you keep an eye on your children's Internet searches and chats, I always did.

I also believe that ONE NATION UNDER GOD belongs in the pledge, and censorship is censorship, and a few people think they know whats good for everyone. But in reality they have no clue, just like editing the pledge and removing God from it because one guy thinks it offends his daughter. In a interview alone the young girl said she has no problem reciting the pledge, so it was actually his agenda.

Before this gets out of hand let me say I do not try to censor anyone but myself. I believe that is for each person to do for themselfs. I beleve in the pledge as I also served nine years in the military and raised three kids. Even though I don't think we need an adult club poi that isn't for me to say it was just a comment. I think some took it differently. What I was trying to say is the post started out about adult clubs then got onto a different subject as I seen it. which makes it hard to follow the comments, and what comments are being said about the subject line. If someone took that as trying to censor then i don't know what else to say. This is the end of my comments on this subject. I can read or delete what I am not interested in. Hope everyone has a nice evening.

If you are against this Adult Clubs POI, simple solution, Don't download it.

Just like I won't be downloading the Catholic Churches POI anytime soon. But, I am not going to make a statement that I don't think it should be posted here.

p.s. I am actually a bit surprised how long it actually took before someone complained about it. I was expecting it much sooner. Double standards are always alive and well.

So then you will also be recommending that the McDonalds, Carl's Jr., Wal-Mart, etc. POIs be removed as well? Oh ya, and the popular Rest Stop POIs as well.

On a side, but related note, I am actually shocked there isn't a POI for Stuckey's! You can't drive across country without seeing Stuckey's billboards everywhere. Not as many as when I was a kid, but they are still out there.

I too was a bit surprised, I have been watching this thread closely also.

One of the things that Jon and I discussed before even building the site was if we were going to have specific guidelines on what type of information was posted so that we didn't offend any group.

We realized that it is almost impossible to keep all of the people happy all of the time.

We are a community full of different types of people with many different interests and we have chosen not to sensor some of the more adult content that has been flowing in.

We need to be a tolerant community that is accepting of other peoples likes and dislikes.

If you guys don't like the Adult POI clubs..then just pass them over when your searching through the POI list. It does start with the letter A.....Come on, I don't like fast food...do you see me starting a forum topic bashing it. There are more important things to talk about then a measley POI file. Geesh.
