Traffic Receiver Issues

Did anyone else have a problem a few weeks ago with their traffic receiver crapping out? (I'm in Phoenix.) I didn't have to use the traffic receiver for a while but I finally noticed that the icon was grayed out. I fiddled with it for several days before calling Garmin. They think my authorization code got trashed somehow and agreed to regenerate a new one for me. But they were having problems with the server that they use to generate new codes so it took several days before they got it back up and running. I thought they would send me the code and I would have to put it into the unit, but several days later the receive just started working again.
Anyone else experience this? Just curious.

And I did quite a bit of highway driving last weekend and all was well. My traffic receiver alerted me of heavy traffic once and that was it.

In which way are you receiving traffic? Is it FM or Satellite?
No Problems
We were driving through Phoenix last Saturday the 24th and our Streetpilot routed us around some trouble on I-10 no problem. We have the c550 with the FM traffic receiver.
Cash Toll gate delays
No problems this week in New York City. I foolishly drove into the city 3 times this week and the only problem was i didn't have easypass and got stuck in long lines waiting for the cash lane at toll gates. The easypass was breezing through so i can't blame being 30 minutes late on the garmin.

I apologize to all of you who responded to my original question. I got busy and neglected to look for responses.
Andras': I'm receiving traffic info via FM Receiver. That's the part that crapped out. In fact, I've just had another issue where I simply wasn't able to select the traffic icon to look at the map. After a half hour or so, it started working again. I hope this isn't a trend or that it signals a problem with the receiver.

My new Nuvi 760 didn't work long enough to find out. It had bad memory and I used it 2 days before I had problems with it. It took a month to resolve the problem. So much for having it to use on my trip.
my c550 has a destroyed
my c550 has a destroyed power port, so i have never had the luxury.
