How do I use a POI in MapSource?

I've got my RT-66 trip planned with 90 POIs in a TourGuide. I've also used a number of H-D location POIs. I used the Garmin MapSource to make 30 daily routes. I've loaded the TourGuide and POIs as Waypoints to use making these routes. If I transfer the Waypoints to my Zumo 550, I have a Favorite and a POI (or TourPoint) with the same name, but the POI details are not included in the route Waypoints. If I only load the Routes, Garmin uses an internal waypoint with just the name and coords. Short of recreating each route in the Zumo, which entails searching for each of the 90+ POIs and replacing the internal waypoints, is there a way to use the POIs in MapSource route making?

Did you try to transfer them

Did you try to transfer them to mapsource, with the 650 all i have to do is use the transfer from device and they show up on the Waypoint tab of mapsource, But when you go the other way i dont put them on the nuvi, i put all my poi's onto a s/d card.

When I create POI's in

When I create POI's in MapSource, I use the Comments section in the Waypoint Properties screen to add anything I want to have displayed on the GPS. I can add the street address, phone number, and any special detail I want to include. I don't know just how much data my Nuvi will display, as I've never tried to write a book there, but it works for certain basic info. When I save the waypoint file as a .gpx, then I can load it all into the Nuvi as a custom POI.

Since my 260 doesn't support routes, I don't have the issue that you describe. I have to navigate from waypoint to waypoint with no more than one via point, so I'm always working from the POI file. I do know that you can create a route from a selected group of waypoints, but I don't know if the waypoint properties will then carry over into the unit along with the route.
