OK I'm new at this online stuff and am surprised to find so much information available. Does anyone know how much (megabites) of memory is in the Garmin nuvi 660?

How to find memory size
Not sure on your Nuvi, but you should be able to check by connecting it to your computer and then right clicking on the drive under properties.
My c530 has almost a gig of memory and has about 12 meg available for entering data. Of course you can add data to the SD card also.

Thanks MKahn. This machine act just like another drive. I am familiar with those. Now I have to decide what to keep and what to delete.

What to keep and what to drop
I would be careful of the things you remove. You should be able to remove some of the languages and some of the vehicles.
One thing I did was a complete backup of the Garmin folder from my GPS onto my PC drive. Then, in case something happens, I can replace the files.
