Splash Screen = 2720

If I recall correctly, I'm pretty sure I've seen reports elsewhere from people who've changed their splash screen on 2720 / 2730.

Just be sure to make a backup of the original screen in case you want to put it back the way it was shipped.

If you download and install Garmin's xImage, look for the "Get images from the GPS" option and select "Splash Screen" to save image to your PC.

After you've created a new splash screen, you can transfer it to the GPS using "Send images to the GPS".

Cool I finally got something to work. Since I am a big Mickey Mouse Fan I put a picture on my Garmin that I personally took.

Now it would be nice if I could get the other things working that I posted about.

I'm going to try some Waypoint pictures and see if I can get those to work as well.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS2 (Kind of overkill for this)

I used Ximage to modify my splash screen on the i3 and it worked fine in case anyone asks..
