Issues with Bluetooth?

Does anybody with the Nuvi x60's have issues with their bluetooth? I just got my 760 last week. The bluetooth seemed to work well at first, but the past couple of days, it keeps disconnecting, and when I get a call it doesn't really pick it up - I have to quickly send the audio to the phone.

I just reset my phone - Treo's are notorious for needing that from time to time. I'm hoping that will resolve my issues.

Issues with Bluetooth?

I have a 660 paired with a Motorola Q and it seems to work fine. Mine disconnects when it loses Sprint signal. But it reconnects without telling you. I only find out that I am reconnected by going to the opening screen and seeing if the phone icon is up.

Good luck!

Which version?

What does it say under "Tools | Settings | System | About" for the Bluetooth Version?

If it says Bluetooth SW Version 3.00, that could be your problem.

Mine should arrive today or, more likely, tomorrow. If I show Bluetooth SW Version 3.00 can I assume a simple update via the Garmin Web Updater will take care of whatever issue you feel exists with that version?

GPSMAP 76CSx - nüvi 760 - nüvi 200 - GPSMAP 78S

.

Yes, Webupdater should find Version 3.10.

Basically, any version other than 3.00 is the preferred answer - V2.80 seemed fine too!

I totally missed Webupdater.

I totally missed Webupdater. I had downloaded and installed the latest software version of the... OS, perhapse. I just assumed it would look at everything.

Downloading now. Hopefully, this will do the trick. Thanks!

Palm Treo Bluetooth

I have a 360 and a Palm 755p. It was a bear to get setup, but once I got it paired it works very well, with limitations. The most important thing I found was to turn off my bluetooth headset prior to turning on the Nuvi. If the treo is paired to a headset when the Nuvi boots up I can never get it to pair, the Treo won't allow the second device to connect. Even if you turn off the headset after the Nuvi boots up, the phone and the gps just won't lock and you keep getting the message that the phone has been disconnected.

Hope this helps
