How to get POI"S to GPS

Hello everybody, new to this site, and trying to download some poi's to my Garmin Nuvi 350, but can't seem to get them over to my GPS. What do I need to install or have or do ?

You need to go to the Garmin website and download the POI loader. http://www8.garmin.com/products/poiloader/ There are instructions at the Garmin site as well as many here...

POI's
I have found it best to put a folder on my computer called POI and to put all of the poi files there.
Then when I want to add a poi file, I add the file to the folder and add the entire folder. POI loader works by removing all the custom poi files from your garmin and putting the "new" ones on. Unless you identify all of the files, they will not be reloaded on the garmin.

Thank you for that info. It explains a lot of the problems I have been having.
