Details of Europe complete vs France SD card

I have searched the forum but didn't really find my answers to this question

We have a Nuvi 350 (US basemap) and travel quite a bit to Europe (UK, Italy, France). We are wondering:

1. whether there is a difference in the map street level details of Europe complete SD card vs the country France SD card.

2. If there is no difference in street level details, is using the Complete Europe card slower in anyway that just the single country.

3. Is there info anywhere on using the Travel Guide SD AND the maps on SD - ie can I upload the travel guides to the Nuvi and leave the SD slot free for the maps?

Not really interested in the PC DVD versions because it is my parents are they are not really PC savvy. Dealing with a GPS is technical enough for them.

Thanks!

No.

No, I don't believe so. It must be quite clever about caching the bits of the map it's using.

In general, commercial Travel Guides are locked to the Serial no. of the SD card they are supplied on - as are maps. Since there's only one card slot, this is a bit of a problem, if you've got more than one card!

Thanks So the only advantage

Thanks
So the only advantage of one over the other is money. And since all of Europe is the price of two country cards - guess the all of europe card is the way to go.

Follow Up

Just wanted to follow up for anyone else interested. We purchased the European SD card for our Nuvi 350. It worked a charm in the tiny backroads of southern France. Only trick was we had to set the voice to a non TTX(i think it was) voice so it would say "turn right in 300m" rather than "turn right on Rue St Foy" as street name road signs were difficult to see, if they even existed. It took us on all sorts of interesting roads and always got us to where we watned togo. We were especially pleased that all the 13/14thC churches were listed as LandMarks/Historical making them very easy to pull up on "where to go".

It even got us to a couple of geocaches along side some of our routes!

So - thanks for the pointers - and have fun.

My wife and I will be there..

The 350/360 with the SD cards installed came in VERY handy, especially in the old walled cities.
