This is the place to talk about things that are not gps related, you can discuss whatever you would like, as long as it is clean. Remember we have families that have their children involved in the GPS fun and we don't want to make parents feel uncomfortable when their children ask what that word means.

BACK FROM FISHING THE EAST CAPE
RETURNED FROM BAJA LAST WEEK AND FOUND OUT THAT I MADE IT INTO WESTERN OUTDOOR NEWS (KINDA COOL I GUESS). THE WATER WAS STILL A BIT COLD FOR THIS TIME OF THE YEAR SO NO MARLIN BUT LOTS OF BIG YELLOWTAIL.

You are right. I say "I'd rather read something interesting about your region, not the sound of your region's cow, sheep or any other farm animal."
For example here in our region the prices started to show how incompetent is our dear government to handle the economy of the region and of the country as a whole.

Don't install AIM on vista,
Don't install AIM on vista, it really screws you up. Especially if you have Vista Home basic. Here is what it did to my system...
1) Didn't load antivirus
2) Cut all shares off to other computers
3) Unable to ping computer from another computer
4) Unable to open "Network and Sharing" on affected computer.

I say don't install Vista
Don't install AIM on vista, it really screws you up. Especially if you have Vista Home basic. Here is what it did to my system...

yeah, it isn't that bad once you learn it. But it is a high learning curve
I have used it for a while and it is not so high learning curve, but it is not showing you enough information for any system operation and it is really heavy on the system.
Frankly I am working with Linux from a long time and I have no problems with any OS, but it really a step back for MS.
