Canyonlands National Park - Island in the Sky

Canyonlands National Park. What a beautiful place this is. Deep Canyons like the Grand Canyon. The Colorado and Green Rivers come together in the park. There are enough campgrounds to last a year staying in each one a week. Most require a hike. This is well worth the trip, and, the road to the entrance is not far from the entrance to Arches National Park, both near the town of Moab, UT. Lots of Motels in Moab. Going in the off-season will get you a hotel all to yourself, almost. Did this one in a hurry, sun was going down. Every National Park in Utah is eye-popping and the colors are beautiful.
