Travel Guide - Europe

I have read many posts regarding the travel guides one can purchase for the Garmin units. Does anyone have experience with the European version? So far what I have read about the N.A. version hasn't exactly been positive enough to go out and purchase for $180. Before getting my nuvi670 I would always buy the paper back version of the state/province I was going to visit and found them helpful. With no way to preview the info I am hesitant to go out and buy the digital version. I am heading to Italy and Greece this May and sure would like to be able to use my GPS while traveling.
European Travel Guide
I have read many posts regarding the travel guides one can purchase for the Garmin units. Does anyone have experience with the European version?
My Nüvi 310 came with a sample of the European Travel Guide (it's quite odd, in that it's built-in... rather than being a separate file).
If you let me have an email address, I'll zip up some screenshots and you can see for yourself.I'm in two minds about it - on the one hand, there is some useful information in there (For each POI: a few paragraphs of text, opening hours, prices etc - and the occasional photo). On the other hand, they seem to want a lot of money for it and you can achieve almost the same results using Custom POIs.
(For my forthcoming trip to the States, I'll be making my own 'rich-content' POI file. It will take some effort on my part, but every entry in it will be somewhere I know I'm interested in going to!)
