Admins,
What are the chances that you can modify the site so when you click on a link, it opens another window. That way, we can alway go back to the original page that we were on without going back back back.
We've done this in custom-built areas of the site, but the standard functionality we use in forums doesn't have this feature yet.
As a work around, you can right click on the link and choose "Open in New Window" or in some browsers "Open in New Tab".

use the wheel on the mouse
If you're using either Firefox or IE7, you can use the wheel on the mouse to click on a link and open it in a new tab within the same window, ie, tabbed browsing. Big improvement.

I am so used to right clicking and choosing "Open in a new Window", it is just natural to do it now.
Sometimes if you let a new link open in the original window, when you click to go back, it takes forever to reload the original page. This trick makes things just run a little faster.

Won't just holding down the SHIFT key when clicking a link cause it to open in a new page?
