fun on the roof
fixing a roof, sheathing in steel,
so easy to walk on steel is really grippy << first mistake
had two screws left to do when the first mist of rain came
decided to do them then walk to the ladder << second mistake
did not pull safety line taught with every step << third mistake
stepped on a raindrop, feet gone
slid down the roof -amazing how fast you can say Kaddish when sliding down roof
slid a million miles to my death -about 3 feet, then safety harnes tightened and didn't go any further
sitting on my behind on the roof
roof is about 4 feet off the ground at bottom end, built into the hill
roof is about flat, no more than 5 degree pitch
would have died from imaginitis
there were only four people there including me
there are 5 youtubes of 'old guy falling on his butt'
the title of my autiobiography "Mistakes have been made"
