New Windows 10

Just saw this video of the new layout of Win10.
I wish they would leave things alone. Major updates every 6 month. I'm always nervous they're going to break my computer.
This has a lot of flash but I don't think it's necessary.

I've noticed with each new overhaul the interface looks more and more like you'd expect a mobile device to look.

Chose to opt out of the “mobile look”
Sorry I’m using my iPhone for internet so I cannot tell you how right now and will be for more than 3 months here in Mexico. But both my laptops at home are modified.

This is why more than ever you need backups

That would be data backups as well as full images of the system or a hard drive clone of your system.

Do you realize that is just

Do you realize that is just some random person posting a Windows 10 design as he/she would like it to be? There are tons of those videos.

Do your own thing

Give me about 5 minutes and I can probably make you think I’m still running Windows 7. With a few more minutes I’ll make you think I have Windows XP.

Forget the bells and whistles, the important changes for the most part are the under-hood changes you aren’t aware of that provide security and reliability.

I agree. I have also notice that Bing is taking over Google Search with the new update. I don't know how to stop it.

What version of Windows are you running? It is fairly easy to disable Bing but you do need some experience with modification of the registry. Do a search on “disable Bing” without the quote marks.

i never use bing

ive got windows 10 pro 20h2 and i have google on my favorites bar and when i start the edge browser it starts out with google news, if i want to search for something i click google on the favorites bar, and i set this up in the edge browser settings. the only time i needed to do something with the regestry was the option for auto log in windows 10 they removed the option and they switched windows photo viewer for a new picture display program, when i boot up it goes stright to the desk top and looks like windows 7 , it takes a while to learn how to do things with windows and the edge browser but once you learn its more fun to work with !

I am running old software

i am running windows 95 windows 98 windows xp windows 7 and windows 10 on my computer right now so can play with what ever one I want to.

thanks
