R.I.P. Tim Conway

A truly unique and timeless talent. For those of us old enough to remember, that description fits all of the Carol Burnett show regulars, but Tim was something special. He will live on in the countless skits that will be replayed for generations. I can't help but smile every time I think about Tim saying "Eh Miss Wiggins" in that fake accent. And the way he could hold that deadpan look when everyone else on the set was breaking up … just priceless. What a loss.

The Best!

it's sad

Sad to hear about people who were in their prime, when one was a kid. And for those people to pass away today.

Something dawned on me....it seems we looked up to and admired performers our parents' ages, go figure. The people who became mega stars who are our contemporaries, younger folks look at them that way.

RIP

So sad to hear of his

So sad to hear of his passing.

I also remember watching him

I also remember watching him as the bumbling officer on McHale's Navy.

He was a local boy

Tim Conway was born about six miles from where I live so he was kind of a local hero around here. To be honest, I didn't particularly care for his brand of humor, but I still mourn his loss. RIP, Tom Conway. (His first name was Thomas, but who knew?)

vegas

I went to a show with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman in it was worth every penny and I loved the fact that rude language wasn't used and it was a very funny show those two were made to work with each other !
