I see the .be address all the time when I upload videos, it's like a youtube internal tinyurl version of the actual address clicking on a .be address takes you to the .com place the video is, this link is OK.

good to hear

I have a healthy level of paranoia when it comes to internet links. If I'm not confident about an address, I stay clear.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean someone's not trying to kill you.

I completely understand, that's why I took the time to explain I have seen the extension many times. I upload videos to youtube of my dog all the time.

youtu.be is the "shortened" style for youtube.com links.

Similar to btt.ly and goo.gl links.

YouTube and Youtu.be

I have checked two tech sites regarding this issue and both indicate that youtu.be is part of Google (which owns YouTube). Apparently, it is a "shorthand" so you don't have to type in the entire URL.

freedom!

For those who find traffic lanes and stop lights too constricting. smile

Diverging Diamond

The Diverging Diamond Interchange is becoming very popular here in the U.S. and you will eventually come across one.

Bad, But Not As Bad As It Looks

While this intersection looks like a nightmare, it's not as bad as the video implies, because the video has been sped up. If you can't tell, watch the pedestrians. They are all "walking" far faster than normal (2-3x). This isn't a live webcam, nor can I find a link to the actual live webcam, if indeed it exists.

Two words..

Holy Crap! Sped up or not... Holy Crap!

Yea I noticed that too, not sure if you'll have it but on my youtube page there's a gear icon that's for a few settings, I can make the video go slower, not as slow as a normal pace but pretty close and it's still a mad intersection.

There's one a few hours from here. Ours has signals though, so not as scary as the video. razz

That would be ok. I am always looking for my routes to be on roads with signals. It is safer for me. Don't like yielding on highways.

We have 1 in Rochester.

It's 2 lanes each direction with signals so easy peasy.
