No, things haven't changed. What's a "csu?"

Please tell us what file(s) you are downloading, to what device you are using and what steps you take to try to install the POI(s).

Note: "CSU" is a "CSV" file.

did poi factory change

I get two options to download CSU AND tom tom.

.

Again, it's CSV not CSU. And POILoader will absolutely load CSV files.

I find the poi file. I click

I find the poi file.
I click csv
it shows an option to open the file but not to download.

Its been several months but I used to click csv or garmin or gpx and save my file then pull up the garmin poi loader and transfer the file to my garmin. It won;t download to my file now. I am frustrated.

Ah, this sounds like a browser issue. What browser are you using? Have you tried another? Without changing any software, try to download a csv file by right-clicking the file, then choose a Save As option to download it to your computer rather than to open it.

What could have caused this was a slip on your part. When clicking the csv file to download, you may have accidentally clicked the Open or Open With and the box saying 'Always do this with this type of file' was checked. Knowing the browser you're having problems with now will help ID the issue, cause, and hopefully, the fix.

Browser?

If the problem is that you cannot download a copy of the file from here vs the ability to install it on the Garmin, try clearing your browser's cache. If you don't know how to do that, try a different browser. e.g. if you are using Internet Explorer, try Chrome or Firefox for example.

Firefox:
Right click the link - Save Link As...

Internet Explorer:
Right click the link - Save Target As...

Chances are

Your browser is set to auto update and during one of those updates the default property changed when clicking on a download link.
