Another "nail in the coffin"

Another "nail in the coffin" example of greed and corruption in the ongoing saga of traffic cameras.

Yeah, it's all about safety.....

With time we know the truth

Safety is what every person wishes when in traffic, when driving and crossing the street. Here you can see something we all know. When you alter basic rules for the gain of someone, we know the majority pay.

Public contracts done in secrecy are suspicious. If you see many public contracts for roads, materials and supplies you can see that in the end there are always big percentages to be added at the end.

Red light cameras are there for safety. What you see is the company that install those cams with a big bank account, politicians push for regulations to help that company profit and politicians profit too. Drivers loose, cities loose and safety is compromised by them lowering the time the yellow light is giving us to cross safely.

The truth sets you free.

Well, all good "intentions" aside by any so called safety nanny. I would bet that these camera companies don't give a hoot about safety it's only about how much money they can rake in.

That's the bottom line. They should tear them all down & let REAL officers of the law enforce the laws. Not some company wanting to make more money.

Red Light Cameras Are Not To Blame

The problem is not the red light cameras, it is the money to be made.

Whenever there is money involved, you will see bribes and many other forms of dishonesty. That is a fundamental aspect of human behavior that has affected government (and other) operations since long, long before anyone on this forum was born.
