Beat you, temp on the east coast of Can is 10F. Just had the storm from last night cleared, lucky only 7+ inches this time. I now have a pile of snow approx 10+ FEET hight at the end of the drive, want some??????.

Getting Off Lucky!

We've had a comparatively mild winter in the Badlands of Alberta. It has been above 0 degrees Celsius (32 degrees Fahrenheit) for most of the past two weeks. There have only been a couple weeks of bad storms out this way so far!

Compared to the past two winters, we have been pretty lucky. Sorry to see the east coast take a beating but I'm hoping for a few more weeks of nice weather... then winter is OVER!

lives in Coronado. He complains about the snowbirds in the winter and the "Zonies" escaping the heat of Tuscon in the summer.

Heat wave in St. Louis

It was 35 on Saturday and seemed like short sleeve weather, but 38 predicted for Tuesday. It's been a roller coaster in between, but still beats the heck out of Boston. I am guessing they will be driving around piles of snow until late April.

Ready for spring

Hating this cold

It has been absolutely remarkable watching the transformation

... of attire of both outdoor reporters and the G.P. as this NE freeze has progressed. Congratulations to all those who have realized that being well dressed under these conditions means being well protected from the elements.

Here's hoping that the jet stream shifts towards a more seasonal pattern soon so the Rocky Mountain States can also receive their fair share of winter weather.
