its bad enough when its grey depressing cold wet weather now where having flood warning's god my butt is turning green from mold the grass I had is now all moss im thinking of building an ark and pointing it south !! it may not stop raining here until April all the weather forecasts predict rain as far out as they predict arrrrrgggggg

(For those who learned about such things in the 1960's):

The new OEM batteries are supposed to be "Maintenance Free." Supposedly if it looks like it needs (distilled) water the battery is becoming defective. Hard cranking in benign weather: ditto. Dealer checked mine, found it to be weak and replaced it free under warranty. The second needed to be replaced (also for free) 'cause it was still within its 2 yr warranty and was also becoming 'weak.' (No change in driving habits, and far too many new vehicles purchased in the last 33 yrs. This is new 2 me 2).

I have no idea what this all means, but I'm sure others track such OEM automotive developments. confused

Suppose to rain in Sacramento this Friday through the week end. I've heard this song before but didn't get near the water we need. I guess I'll believe it when I see it. We need need water, so any amount will be acceptable.

Battery

It means the manufacturers are using less and less structure to hold the sulphate in place, batteries are lighter, less lead, no framework to stop the active material dropping to the bottom of the cell
glass matte tubular batteries, still last as long, everything else, crap
they hope that "General Public" thinks its their fault and does not return for warranty
