I have long made it a practice to stay off the roads & trails on Labor Day weekends and leave the "LM/LT/OSM" to others. Figure I'll be "low & slowing it (BBQ)" w/family on Saturday; then mowing, lawning & expending chemicals on the vehicles till I get bored.
What are your plans for the second most iconic of American Holidays
Leaving after work in mere hours from Long Island, and returning after the first week of school has passed by.
Mrs. Nuvi1300WTGPS and I are just going to cool it kick back and enjoy the weekend at home.
Just staying home, no GPS use for me
We will probably go to First Monday in Weatherford.
That is all the excitement we can manage.
Strip loins on the grill, and cold bevvies. Mmmm!
Road trip! Going to Nashville from Chicago Sunday through Friday. At least half the trip will be smooth sailing due to construction being stopped for Labor Day weekend. Friday night traffic in Chicago will be a whole different story.
No road trip, but I'll be going to this on Sunday.
Hoping to relax on this Labour Day weekend, after all the grass is cut.
Last weekend was my driving weekend, taking our daughter back to school (6 hours each way).
This weekend I'm staying home -- and celebrating our 34th wedding anniversary!
Are you going up in a balloon?
24 folks, friends and family, to help us celebrate our 34th wedding anniversary -- and some even hung around long enough to help clean up!
But now it's back to the usual grind...
Took a trip up to the cottage for the long weekend. Great sailing days on Saturday, ripped across the lake to an island and back.. Total trip was 5.3 miles
Just sat by a lake monday, went home early tuesday morning!
I don't drive during the holidays. Being retired means I drive during the middle of the week.
