Best Super Bowl Commercials (GPS People's Choice Awards) ....

Enough with hearing from those with business interests, consultants & Madison Avenue types ... Plenty of opportunities for creative categories here:

-The ad that will most likely generate sales from this family: The Next Transformers Movie (whatever it will be called).
-The quirkiest: Stephen Colbert's Pistachio Two Part.
-The hope he made plenty of money on it (even though it's not the 60's anymore) award goes to: Bob Dylan.
-The haven't we seen this ad before award to: the Budweiser puppy & clydesdales.

Chevy

I have to go with the Chevy commercial: "Hello-o-o-o Ladies!" Game wasn't much though.

Doritos

I've been a fan of past Super Bowl ones and this year's Doritos commercial did not disappoint.

#1...

I understand that the "Budweiser puppy & clydesdales" was the number 1 ad. grin

Thanks for the Superbowl commercials up here in Canada we only get our made in Canada commercials which are lame compared to the great ones on Superbowl!

No question..

There are some good commercials named here but in my opinion most of the rest were pretty bad. I think on average the worst commercials in a long time.

Also found it interesting how many commercials were effectively advertizing another commercial. The SB commercial directed you to the web to see the real commercial. That approach was prevalent for movies.

Good one

Strange

Didn't it seem a little strange that the mother was clapping when the girl hogtied her brother.

Heinz Ketchup

The ending with poor Grandma and the little girl running away from the table was hilarious.

"Primum Non Nocere" 2595LMT Clear Channel and Navteq Traffic

Chevy Silverado commercial

Chevy Silverado commercial with the bull and cows and the Sexy Thing song was pretty damn funny.

I liked the Chrysler

I liked the Chrysler commercial, as always. Imported from Detroit. I also liked the chihuahua dog hybrid.

A Pre-amazon Amen, dude. The Wall Street Journal today reported (though RS would neither confirm or deny) that Radio Shack would soon be closing 500 stores nationwide as part of cost-cutting efforts. Seems Radio Shack doesn't appeal to young people in a smartphone age. Go figure. The remarkable thing is that they outlasted Blockbuster.

/"Do you need batteries? We have great deals on batteries. A gold-plated, gauge-10 HDMI cable for only $79.95? Of course you'll be wanting an extended warranty to protect your investment. A life insurance policy, perhaps?? What's your phone number???"

Doberhuahua

My favorite, though technically a bad commercial since I don't know what it was selling.

from a limited sample

I didn't really watch the Super Bowl (heresy, heresy!) so my exposure to the commercials was rather limited. Of what I have seen, I am rather fond of the music and the cinematography in the Coca Cola commercial.

Doberhuahua was my favorite

Doberhuahua was my favorite too. Only a German car company could come up with something so bizarre.
