Garmin base map

I recently had my windows 7 64 bit re installed and lost everything (lost all files unexpectedly)How can i get the updated maps i have purchased from Garmin back into my computer,the maps were one time downloads. I have a 2009 CD map update but it wont update base camp with the details. I have emailed Garmin but no luck for answers.

Well, I guess using your "backup" won't work as it sounds like you don't have one so I think your pretty much out of luck. If you have a GPS with "lifetime map updates" you have a year to redownload the last update to your GPS and/or computer. Unless Garmin relents on the "one time" download rules, I think you'll probably need to purchase another map update to get the maps on your computer. Remember to pick the option "download to GPS and computer" or "download to computer only".
On the other hand, you don't need the maps on your computer to use BaseCamp. If you attach your Nuvi to the computer and fire up Basecamp it will use the maps on the device just like they were on the computer.

Try taking the PC offline
Change the date back to when the CD/DVD was new and try installing with dates closer in synch...
