Once again
Another holiday and retirement days have got me forgetting what day it is.
Just finished my Vegas to Phoenix commute and my new radar detector only alerted once. Saw two police speed enforcement units with speeders stopped. Traffic was moderately heavy.
Great week to all. I'll try again next week to remember that Monday is Monday, and if I don't remember, who cares! I won't be late for work!

My parents always stopped to help
Down in the dumps with the winter doldrums until I helped a stranded motorist the other day. His thanks was all I needed to lift my spirits. Spring is right around the corner!
One day my parents stopped to help a man whos car broke down. Daddy couldn't fix it so he asked where the man was going and he said home and it was just a little bit further. Daddy said ok so the man went back to his car for something and came out with a shotgun.
Well my parents said nothing and he said nothing and they got in the car. He got in the back seat and put the gun over his knees. He had them turn off the highway to a small road, then down several small, deserted roads. Then he had them stop at a small house. They didn't know what was going to happen next, but he got out and said thanks.......Needless to say my parents were relieved.
