Voting has ended, and our general maintainers have selected CraigW as POI Factory's contributor of the year for 2012.

CraigW is often one of the first members to respond to forum questions. He’s great about asking additional pertinent questions if needed, providing links to FAQ’s or other threads of a similar nature and encouraging follow-up from the OP’s.

Thanks to everyone who voted. We truly appreciate all of our active members!

Thank you, JM, Angela and Factory Folk, especially the General Maintainers. I am very honored to receive my "tree" and fully realize that each year, there are over a dozen folks who could/should receive the award and that the eventual tally could so easily have been different due to near-random events.

I am always so happy when I see one or more of a half-dozen to a dozen users reply to a question I have to or clarify or correct a reply that I've made earlier since they are so knowledgeable. I'd try to list them here but won't since I know I'd overlook some important folks.

It's always hard for me to decide who to vote for since there are so many ways that users here offer help to others. For me this year, my vote went to rame1012 for repeatedly identifying, finding and offering the large Junction View file for several recent map updates that those of us with older Garmin GPS models can use, but instead receive a small file by default during the update process.
