The weatherman made it sound like we were going to get a lot more rain than we've gotten so far. Here it is 5PM and it's already slowed way down. Not much got put in our retention ponds & lakes. confused

Can't remember which year - 2 or 3 years ago maybe- we made up for our deficit in a hurry - we received 28 inches of rain ( that's not a typo ) in one week in May. Fortunately, we were on travel for that period or my S.O. probably would have shot me from depression !

Most certainly a good soaking is needed now tho !

edit: we got a little over 1/2 " overnight and looks like some close by !

We were at Hershey Park yesterday and the rain came in around 5pm or so. We drove through a monsoon on the way home, enough rain to flood the highway and get a lot of people to pull over on the side of the road. We actually drove out of it before we got home but the storm greeted us here just a few minutes after our arrival. No monsoon here though, at least not that we noticed.

We've had a steady, soaking rain pretty much all day which is good, because we needed it. Better than the flash flood that just runs off, taking your topsoil and fertilizer with it.
