After visiting an aircraft carrier in California I wondered if there were other sites. I came across many in Google earth community and then found http://www.hnsa.org which finished my search. These 137 sites represent the history of the USA on the high seas.
I used Historic Naval Ships Association website to fill in the information not done by Wikipedia.
