Reducing Amout of Items in a POI file

I was curious if there was a way to reduce a POI file before I uploaded it.
e.g. I did not want all the states in the red light camera poi file. Could I reduce it and how?

open it in excel and sort
open it in excel and sort and then delete the rows that you don't want. Or copy the rows that you do want into a new csv file.

connect to computer
start poi loader
select directory containing file
select any alerts as desired
load file
finish
disconnect
start gpsr
check results
the custom poi's currently loaded in your gpsr will be replaced by any files being loaded, so, if you have more than one, you will have to load ALL desired poi files at the same time.
