880 and microSD card problem...

Hi All,
I bought two 8gb microSD cards for my new Nuvi 880. My problem is that one microSD card loads properly and one card won't.
The card that won't mount tries to load (the sand timer keeps turning upside down) and at some point, the screen reverts to the Garmin logo and that's where it stays until I turn the unit off.
I erased the offending microSD card and formatted it as FAT 32 and reloaded the .mp3's back on the card and it "still" won't load.
Anyone have any ideas???

If one works..and the other doesnt...assuming the same conditions, I'd say one of the cards may be bad...

Try it in a different device
I would try the card in another device, if you have any other devices that take SD cards (provided you have the MicroSD to SD adapter). If it doesn't work in other devices, the card is probably bad.
My suggestion would be this...
The Nuvi 880 must be bad, so just send it to me and go buy another one:)

Hi All,
I took the 8Gb microSD card back to Radio Shack and exchanged it for another 8Gb microSD card. Got back home and loaded it up with oldies and doo wop hits, from the 50's and 60's. I inserted the card into my Nuvi 880 and it's now working properly.
