Contributors of the Week 2008-06-02

This week we are recognizing Gary A and Bobkz.

Gary A, I can't tell you what a pleasure it is to have you in our community. Your smile is such a nice thing to see every day. You are so nice and helpful, I sent out the call for photos for the site and you answered with enthusiasm and determination to assist. Thanks for all your help this week, it really is appreciated. You are doing great stuff with the Tampa Bay area files too.

Bobkz, I was shocked when I got your email with all the missing BMP icons. I don't know how long it took you to go through the whole site to figure out which BMP icons were missing, but I love the fact that you took the time to make sure that all of our files had a bmp to go with it. I did a rough estimate of how many new icons I have to upload and I got a count of around 153. Dude, you are the Icon King of POI Factory!!! Thanks so much for all of your outstanding work on the Auto repair shop too.

Have a great week guys!!!

Miss POI

THANKS!

WOW - thank you! I'm still learning about my GPS from the knowledgeable members here, so while I still mostly just read the forum posts, I'm glad to help with the photos. I still have lots more to get.

What is really funny is that you both are doing the same things for the site right now so when I send an email to either of you I don't have to strain my brain to remember what name to use as the greeting.

Miss POI

Yes there are getting to be so many of you now that it is hard to keep you all straight. Not only that but I have to match screen names with emails and first names. This has been a true experience in how good my memory is.

Yes, congratulations to both.
And about the friendlyness of this site. I was just telling my wife, out of all of the sites I am a member, I have never seen a site that is so friendly. I posted a question a couple of days ago and got several great answers and not one person trying to be rude. On some other forums that I belong to it seems sometimes people just sit around and try to think of things to say that are smart remarks and not helpful at all. Sorry about the rant, but just thankful for sites that are sooo helpful and friendly.
