Tampa Bay Area Beaches
Along with some of the country's top ranked beaches like Fort De Soto Park, Clearwater Beach and Caladesi Island State Park, this file also includes remote, "widerness" beaches such as the Robert K Rees Memorial Park, Gardenville Beach and Bahia Beach. So plan accordingly.
Street addresses, phone numbers and website addresses are included in the description field, where available.
CAUTION: Caladesi Island State Park is only accessible by private boat or paid ferry, as I noted in the description field. However, when I loaded this POI file on my nüvi 660 for testing and let it calculate a route to this State Park, it gave me a driving route which does not exist!! It is possible to walk along the beach, over sand from Clearwater Beach, but it is a very, very long walk. The ferry to Caladesi Island originates from Honeymoon Island State Park, so follow directions to that POI.
