New guy on the site, really like it here
Have a wierd problem, I can't get the sound files to save to a file on the computer,
I right and/or left click the file and it immediately opens Media Player or Quicktime. No "save" or "save to" anywhere. I can't get them to save in my folder.
Doing something dumb, don't know what. Computer litterate except today for this issue.
Any help???
Thanks
Virgo
Right-Click

The correct way to do it is to right-click the file name and "Save As", as you said. Are you sure you're using the right mouse button? Can you right-click on your desktop and see a menu?
Also, are the files you're trying to download on this site or some other?
What's Your Configuration?
Are you trying to download files from this web site or another? Are you using a PC or a Mac? And, what OS - Vista, WinXP, W2K?

If you are saving sound files from this site.Find the file you want on the sounds list and click on it now right click on it and save target as and save to folder you want it in.

Problem solved
Why not use the old copy and paste to the location you want the file.
