650 garmins

I mean the units I see alot of the 200,300 660,680 but not that many 650 just wondering if they are anygood or not thank you lucky

I just bought a 650 from

I just bought a 650 from Costco 2 weeks ago and it works great so far, my brother has the 660 and they're exactly the same except for BT. So far so good.

650

I've had my 650 for about 8 months, I love it, there is nothing wrong with it, you have an extremely fine GPSr. There are a lot of other units out there. so don't let the seemingly lack of reference to the 650 discourage you.

650

I too have the 650 from Costco (one week ago) and love it so far. Custom POI's rock!

I got one also

I got me a 650 and it is great, dont care about the bluetooth part of it, Got one in my car, but with it with the 680 didnt really want it on the GPSr question

The 650 is great. I think you see more of the other units (e.g. - 660) because they come with a few features that the 650 doesn't have like the FM transmitter and Bluetooth. I don't need those things so it's no big deal.

THANK YOU'S AL VERY KINDLY LUCKY

Garmin 650

I have a 660 and I bought a 650 for my daughter. The 660 comes with the $200 traffic receiver and has more hard drive memory, besides the BT. Not major things for many because you can work around the smaller hard drive by dropping vehicle icons and unneeded voices.

The traffic receiver has been of spotty use but it is probably the nature of the beast. If the FM transmitter doesn't have the information, then the GPS doesn't either.

The 650 is a fine lower cost alternative if the features that it lacks aren't important to you.

Critters Taste Good! Nuvi 650 & 765T

650 is a big 350

If you have read anything about a 350 it will be about the same as a 650. They have about the same features but the 650 has the 4.3 inch screen. I Love my 650, I did a review shortly after I got it. I paid almost the same for my Nuvi 650 as what I paid for my Street pilot c330 a year earlier. But they have come a long way. The 650 picks up Sats inside as good as the 330 does outside. I like the Mp3 player..and also the picture function.

Have a 650 and also a Navigon 2100.

Have also owned HP Ipaq 310 and Magellan 3225. Had problems with both of them and returned them.

The 650 is very solid, gets you where you want to go in a simple format. Can also play audible books which not many GPS can do.

I also have a 750 that I bought for the same price and it will do multiple stops and has an FM transmitter. I don't see any difference between the two as far as basic GPS functions. Some minor screen differences. Both are good choices.

GARMIN 650

It is a fine GPS unit for a vehicle. Not somthing you would take on the trail. I say that only because of the limited battery life.
The 650 gives you a lot of bang for the buck. I paid $200.00 bucks for it at wallmart and don't have any regrets.

Can we go home now?

Someone posted on another

Someone posted on another site that they had been told that Garmin is discontinuing the 660 (the 600 line???). Sounds like they are dropping the middle ground between the 300's and the 700's.
